Richmond, VA -- Today, the House Democratic Caucus elected Del. Charniele Herring (D-46) to serve as the new Caucus Chair, replacing outgoing Chair Del. Scott Surovell (D-44) who is running for State Senate.

Del. Herring was elected to the House of Delegates in 2009, and served as the Chair of the Democratic Party of Virginia in 2013.
