House Dems Statement on Anniversary of September 11 Terrorist Attacks

RICHMOND, Va. – House Democratic Leader David J. Toscano and Caucus Chair Charniele Herring today issued the following statement on the sixteenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks:
“Today we mourn those lost in the September 11th terrorist attacks, and we remember the brave first responders who risked their lives to save those of others. Our thoughts this morning are with the friends and families whose loved ones died sixteen years ago today. We encourage our fellow Virginians and Americans to recommit to the fight against hatred and terrorism, both international and domestic, in these trying times. Let us stand together as a diverse, inclusive, and compassionate nation once again.”
